Denise Coleman Washington, age 56, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. Born on March 17, 1970, Denise lived her life vibrant, free-spirited, and filled with love, always striving to embrace every moment to its fullest potential. Her warmth, laughter, and deep dedication to her family defined everything she did.

Denise was a woman of passion and loyalty. Above all, she treasured her family and the deep bonds she shared with those closest to her. She found immense joy in life's simple pleasures, especially in the companionship of her loyal hounds, Inspector and Osiris, who brought continuous light and affection into her home.

She was reunited in eternal rest with those who preceded her in death: her beloved parents, Linda and Herman; her cherished daughter, Raven; and the absolute love of her life, Rodney, Sr.

Denise’s vibrant memory and legacy will live on through her devoted son, Rodney Washington Jr., who remained her pride and joy. She is also survived by her two loving sisters, Angela Foster (Craig) and Michelle April (Derrick); her precious grandchildren, Thomas and Michelle, who brought her boundless happiness; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Denise’s warmth, resilient spirit, and unforgettable smile will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
