David F. Zaikis, age 67, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Loving brother of Hunter L. Rogan, Ervin (Mary) Zaikis, Susan Petersen, Michael Zaikis, and William Zaikis. Devoted uncle of Shawna Rogan, Kristin Petersen, and Clinton (Emily) Zaikis. Cherished great-uncle of Evan Zaikis and 1 on the way. Preceded in death by his parents Frank Zaikis and Bernadine Zaikis nee Wolfgang and his uncle Roger Wolfgang. David was a big sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Cubs. He was always reading. David was a longtime resident of Lake Park Residential Care. He was loved by many and will be missed by more.
