Daniel Stasko, age 76, of Hammond, IN., passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at home.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Sharon Stasko; one child; siblings: Linda (late Jim) Pollock, Dale (late Lee) Stasko; nephews: Little Joe (Marcia) Stasko and Stevie Pollock; brother-in-law: Dan Heninger; and his cat, Shadow.  Daniel was preceded in passing by his parents: Andrew and Rosemary Stasko; and his brothers: Joe Stasko and David Stasko.

Daniel was born on July 11, 1945, in Hammond, Indiana.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War.  He had it set in his mind that he was to be a life-long bachelor, until Sharon came around the counter.  One could always find Daniel behind his computer, which his wife Sharon lovingly referred to as "his mistress".  He was working on creating a program to pick winning horses.  Daniel was a skilled pilot, and he also loved the water.  He was a truck driver, which gave him the opportunity to see so many places.  Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
