Colleen Grant, age 35 of East Chicago, IN passed away on Friday October 8, 2021.

Colleen is survived by her daughters: Ayrianna and Jasmin Cerros; Mother, Brenda Kumps (nee Zaworski) of Hebron, IN; sister, Jeannie (nee Betz) (Jimmy) Visvardis of Minooka, IL; brother, Richard (London) Betz of Chicago, IL; childrens father, Jerry Cerros; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her father, Gregory Betz and step father, Richard "Spike" Kumps.

Colleen was employed at Strack and Van Til where she proudly worked her way up to a management position. She enjoyed her job, loved her coworkers and was well loved by those that worked with her. Colleen loved anything that involved water and looked forward to every opportunity she had to visit the beach or take her girls to the water parks. What Colleen loved more than anything was spending time with her whole family.  She was a very involved Aunt and had the most amazing bond with her mom.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home 6955 Southeastern Avenue Hammond, IN 46324. This service will also be available by live stream. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Saint John/Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
