Claudia I. Thielman, age 81, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016. Beloved daughter of late Elmer and late Iona Thielman nee Allison. Loving sister of late Joan "Joanie" L. Thielman. Cherished aunt Tom (Pat) Trost and late Bob (late Judy) Trost. Beloved niece of late Lillian (late Harry) Trost. Fond cousin of Jeanie (late Wally) Shoemaker, Lillian (late Richard) Robinson, Bernadette Trost, who was also her caregiver, Rebecca (Tom) Trost-Seguin, Jennifer Trost, and Robert (Cindy) Trost. Claudia graduated from Hammond Tech and retired from World Book Encyclopedia in Chicago. She will be loved and missed by all. Friends are invited to meet with the Family on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 11 AM until time of Service at 1 PM with Dr. Bassam Abdallah, Pastor officiating at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond.
