Chester G. Goff, age 76, of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2023.

Chester is survived by his brother-in law, Richard (Pat) Burchett; nephew, Richard Burchett and niece, Kristy (Derek) Riley; and many dear friends.  He was preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Norma L. Goff.

On May 22, 1966, he married the love of his life, Norma.  Together they enjoyed travelling the entire US including Alaska and also visited Canada.  They spent many years dedicating their time and gifts in ministry: singing in the choirs, serving as Pastor, Youth Pastors and fellowship and prayer leaders. Chester was a member of Fairmeadow Community Church of the Nazarene in Munster where he dedicated as much time as he could, Chester's life was the church.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 17, 2023, at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324 with Pastor Mike Brown officiating.  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, April 17, 2023, at LaHayne Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00.
