Charles C. Hobbs, Jr., age 57, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.  Charles is survived by his two sons: Justine (Natasha) Hobbs and Dylan Hobbs; grandchildren: Jayden Hobbs and Tyler Vega; sister, Jodeen Jensen; brother, Johnny (Jackie) Hobbs; nieces and nephews: Samantha Hobbs, Janet Hobbs, Cristina (Tom) Sleeper; aunt, Skeeter Ridinger; great nieces and nephews: Nathan and Elizabeth.  Charles was preceded in passing by his parents: Charles Sr. and Johanna Hobbs; sisters: Mary and Frankie.

Charles was born to Charles and Johanna Hobbs on August 29, 1964, in Hammond, Indiana.  He worked for and retired from LIUNA, Laborers' Local 41.  Charles enjoyed the Casinos, where his game of choice was Baccarat.  He enjoyed playing pool with friends at The Anchor.  Charles loved making people laugh as he was naturally a funny guy and was a self-proclaimed "Ladies-Man".  He looked forward to family vacations every year and especially camping trips in the summer.  More than anything he looked forward to the weekends, as that was time for his grandsons.  Charles is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Loyal Order of the Moose, Hammond Lodge #570 located at 7500 Cline Avenue Hammond, IN 46323 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM
