Catherine Turner-Gallagher, age 84, of Whiting, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Catherine is survived by her children: Floyd Turner, Jr., James Turner, Mark (Debbie) Turner, and Dawn (Rich) Sylwestrowicz; her siblings Vicky Newman, Rita Willbarger, and Kevin (Debbie) Trader; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd, as well as her sisters and brother.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating. Interment will follow at St. John–St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home.

Catherine was a proud member of Sacred Heart, AMVETS, the American Legion, the VFW, and the DAV. Her presence, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
