Carol Ann Mills, age 74, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 with her loving husband by her side. Born to the late Versa and Walter Ahrendt on April 6, 1944 in Hammond, Indiana. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Carl Arthur Mills; three sons: Michael (Cheryl) Richardson, Kenneth (Nora) Richardson, Donny Richardson; sisters, Virginia (Ron) Deresch, Karla Karnes; brother, Walter (Carol) Ahrendt (England) and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, January 4, 2019 7:00 p.m. at LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave. Hammond, IN). Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 4, 2019 at LaHayne Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to allergies and asthma and the families request, flowers will not be displayed if they are delivered, so please omit any flowers. Also, please refrain from wearing any perfume or cologne. Memorials in Carols name may be made to the Hospice of the Calumet Area by visiting http://www.hospicecalumet.org/get-involved/donate/ .
