Beatriz Acosta-Garza, age 94, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. She is survived by her children: Martin Acosta, Reno (Sonia) Acosta, Maria (David) Reyes, Jose (Marisa) Acosta; grandchildren: Alex Acosta, Sammy Acosta, Sarita Reyes, David Adam Reyes, Brandon Acosta, Ariana Biaz, David Biaz; brother, Jose Alfredo Canchola; sisters: Zenaida Barrera and Alicia Hernandez; and by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her husband, Rene Acosta-Garza; parents: Alberto and Florencia Canchola; sisters: Sarita, Thomasita and Glafira. Beatriz was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, June 19, 2018 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church (570 Sibley St, Hammond, IN). Interment will take place at Concordia Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Beatriz may be made to Carmelite Fathers (1628 Ridge Rd, Munster, IN 46321).
