Barbara A. Lackey, age 60, of Hammond, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Beloved wife for 40 years to Jim Lackey. Loving mother of Matt Lackey and DiDemi Lackey. Cherished daughter of Agnes Jones nee Cole. Devoted sister of Betty (Victor) Segally, William (Linda) Jones, John (Martha) Jones, and Bonita Smulski. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Silas Jones and her brother Benny Jones. Barbara loved to read, do crafts, and help loved ones. Barbara was loved by many and will be missed by more.
