Barbara Faye Dark age 79 of Hammond, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. She is survived by her children: Brenda Dark, Gary (Stacey) Dark, Charles (Margie) Dark, and Kevin (Kathy) Dark; grandchildren: Ryan (Stephanie) Hickman, Amy (Matt) Vadovic, Amber Dark, Brittany (Jon) Spradlin, Charles Dark Jr., Jessica Dark, Joshua Dark, Jeremy (Sarah) Dark, Tiffany (Ryan) Gates, and Chris Hayes; great grandchildren: Oliver, Nolan, Delilah, Jonathan, Noah, Jax, Greyson, Rylie, Jackson, Emma, Tyler, AJ, Nathan, Liam, and Grace; brother, James (Maria) Darnell; her sister, Shannon Darnell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lacewell; mother and stepfather: Beatrice and Alton Darnell; husband Ray, and by her brother, William Lacewell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2022, at 11:00am at LaHayne Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Zylstra officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday October 5th from 10:00am until 11:00am at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Ave. in Hammond, Indiana 46324.
