Anne P. Dorton nee Stanley, age 84, of Hammond, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 She is survived by her sons, David and Thomas Dorton, both of Hammond, IN sister Frances (Gene) Brownewell of Morocco, IN many nieces and nephews Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Harry Dorton her parents John and Elizabeth Stanley, sisters Maureen Stanley of Ireland and Ita Sinz of Oceanside, CA brothers Philip Stanley of Bonner's Ferry, ID and John Stanley of Riverside, CA Anne, a native of Blackrock, CO. Dublin, Ireland, came to the USA in 1959. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and Bowling until arthritis changed that. She also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her friends. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave, Hammond for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM with Rev. Richard Orlinski, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.
