Anna Ruth Vieweg, age 84, of Munster, IN passed away Friday, December 18, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Theodore C. "Ted"; 2 children, Kathy A. Vieweg and David E. Vieweg; 4 grandchildren, Jessica and Jayme Vieweg, Greg and Alexis Berger; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11 AM from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7227 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN with Pastor Karl Davies officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN and Tuesday morning at the church from 10:30 AM until time of services. The family requests that donations be given to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7227 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN 46324. Ann was a resident of this area for over 60 years and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hammond, IN, the Dorcas Society of the church, Beta Gamma Upsilon, and the Munster Woman's League. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 10 years and was a Girl Scout Leader. Ann was a wonderful cook and baker and she loved her flower garden, especially the rose bushes.
