Anita E. Lindstrom, age 87, of Munster, IN passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2009. She is survived by 3 children, Diane C. (John) Gleason of Munster, IN, Lois J. (Mark) Schoop of Munster, IN, and John C. (Linda) Lindstrom of Naperville, IL; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen L. Craft and Anna F. Kukral, both of Lowell, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lindstrom, in 1994. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 10:30 AM directly from St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave., Munster, IN with Pastor Donald Stock officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday morning at the church from 9:30 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Lindstrom was a resident of this area for over 53 years, a former member of St. Petri Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chicago, IL, and was past president of the White Oak Association. She is a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Munster, IN, the Ladies Aid and the Senior Group of the church.
