Alice E. Kalina nee Artim, age 73, of Hammond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 01, 2015. Loving mother of Donald (Chris) Kalina. Beloved sister of Carol (Norm) Wilson. Cherished aunt of Debbie (Dave) Beck and many other nieces and nephews. Special friend to Debbie and Jeff Kochis. Preceded in death by her husband Donald J Kalina, her parents John and Grace Artim nee Gearman, her son Gerald Kalina, and her sisters Lucille (late Ray) Fentress and Shirley (Jack) Evans. Alice will be missed by her grandpuppy Ross. A Celebration of Alice's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 2 PM until 7 PM with a 6 PM Service with Rev. Stanley J.
