Aida Mora, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of East Chicago, IN, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the age of 92.

Aida is survived by her children: Gladys Mora, Rose Mary Martin and Edwin (Daniela) Mora; siblings: Carlos Molina, Emilio Molina, José Obdulio Molina, Margarita Molina, Elba Molina and Sara Molina; grandchildren: Naomi, Dante (Shivon), Corbin, Breana (Eric), Sabrina (Nick), Michael, Gabriel, Domingo (Amber), Adrik, Miaflor, Beliaflor and Zarahflor; great grandchildren: Amore, Ana, Jovanni, Davion, Lennox, Sophie, Ayla, Domingo, Lorenzo and Serenity; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Aida was preceded in passing by her husband, Domingo; and her siblings: Luis Regelio Molina, Santiago Molina, José Manuel Molina, Ana Rosa Molina and Marina Molina.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 12:00 PM at LaHayne Funeral Home located at 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, IN 46324, with Fr. Jeffrey Burton officiating. Burial will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at LaHayne Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 10:00 until the time of service at noon.

Aida was born November 20, 1930, to Rogelio Molina Soto and Otilia Soto Lopez.  She loved gardening and crafting and especially loved to crochet. Aida had a sense of humor like no other.  More than anything, Aida was all about her Family Unit and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
