After giving love and being loved for 92 years Addie Lee Knauss of Hammond passed away on September 13th at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Lowell E. Knauss, parents and 7 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Sandy (Floyd) Mills, son Rev. Dr. Lowell T. (Laurie) Knauss, 6 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a very special sister-in-law Pat Knauss. Addie was a registered nurse; she worked at Saint Margaret's Hospital in the newborn nursery department and retired from Lever Brothers as an industrial nurse. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 11 AM until 12 Noon at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN.
